    • “No Java/Python API access” - We can allow web-sockets
    • Will: open question
      • definitely promoting access to raw pixel data & the OME-Zarrs (directly)
      • possibly allowing access to websockets, even if not promoting
      • J-M: concern is that large downloads are started via the API.
        • attempting to enable the “FIRE endpoint”
      • Seb: position on the supported OME-Zarr version (0.4? 0.5? 0.6?)
        • J-M: Moving forward to 0.5 and lazily normalizing on that.
        • BIA still requires an entry for all OME-Zarrs (for backup)

  • FYI: Tiago in Uruguay in workshop about bilateral collaboration in bioimage between Uruguay and Mexico (slides) Much interest in using OMERO and/or OME-Zarr in different places in Latin America.
    • Chris (MEX) and Leonel (URU) will have a pilot with FLIM/HSI data and collaboration in the two labs. They got 15 different people to help them design the thing (including Caterina de Strambio, Sebastian Munck, Stephan Preibisch and many regional stakeholders)
