• IDR (Frances):
  • Ongoing migration of IDR to UoD infrastructure. Read-write server running with data copied over.
  • Migration of NGFF data to new EBI storage “livingobjects” complete
• OMERO (Seb)
  • Upcoming OMERO.server release (5.6.18)
    • reviewed open contributions as part of the monthly OMERO PR review
    • include Bio-Formats 8.5.0
    • proposing to close https://github.com/ome/omero-renderer/pull/37 / https://github.com/ome/omero-server/pull/61 - can’t reproduce with current versions of Java etc.
    • tentatively release after OME 2026
    • also release updated OMERO.insight with https://github.com/ome/omero-insight/pull/494? Dom to review build PR
  • Future OMERO.server work (5.7.0?)
    • Java requirements: Java 8 EOL, Java 17/21 recommended
    • Integrating omero-zarr-pixel-buffer into OMERO build/release with Zarr v3 support?
