  • Frances: prod128 released last week: idr0151 - gene expression in embryonic patterning in Drosophilia
    • new landing pages
    • searchengine indexing improvements
  • JM: Khaled is looking at including imaging metadata in search index.
• OMERO
  • JM: omero-cli-zarr update needed
• Bio-Formats (Melissa)
  • small fixes in progress, 8.3.0 review when people back from AL
• NGFF
  • JM: working on fixing issue with registration workflow of OME-zarr into OMERO
  • We will start testing file on Google cloud (Jax)
  • Dom: Trying to fix two issues with ZarrReader, PR 110, needs testing on Windows.
  • Next community meeting in September - demo of BioNGFF work: OMERO register.py and viewer. Not announced yet, still discussing
  • FYI: OME-Zarr hackathon in November

• Glencoe (Chris)
  • quiet now, meetings planned for Autumn
  • customer network configurations can cause perf issues. Prep docs etc on how to recognise and debug etc. Currently we only have this for laptops.
  • Discussing Auth logic - push down to server?
  • Glencoecon last week - good to have external speaker and see everybody
• Community
  • Jason: Visit to UGM in Yogyakarta, Indonesia –
    • Presenting/demo of OMERO as a teaching tool for pathology training, national meetings. Worked well.
    • Currently public data, few annotations
    • Custom svs file writing
  • Jason: IDR landing pages - look great.
